Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 5–7 years of supervisory experience in a multi-craft maintenance environment.
• Proficiency in electrical, mechanical, and programming repairs.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with spreadsheet and word-processing software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proven ability to interface effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented; capable of managing multiple projects and setting priorities.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all production equipment is maintained and repaired to meet company standards and minimize downtime.
• Hire, train, develop, and manage maintenance department personnel.
• Assist in the planning and execution of capital projects.
• Assess, develop, and prioritize project scopes.
• Assign tasks and responsibilities to department staff based on project needs.
• Purchase parts and supplies for maintenance operations.
• Coordinate repair and maintenance schedules with production supervisors.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels of spare parts.
• Collaborate with the Plant Scheduler to develop and implement preventative maintenance plans.
• Participate in repair and maintenance activities as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment that supports food safety, product quality, and personal safety.
• Serve as backup to the Lead Technician, Director of Maintenance, and other maintenance team members.
• Receive backup support from the Director of Maintenance and Lead Technician when necessary.
