Job Title: Estimator – Residential & Subdivision Site Development

Location: Palm Beach, FL -Open to relocatable candidates

Salary Range: $150,000 – $200,000 annually

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM

LHH is partnering with a respected client seeking a highly skilled site development Estimator to join their team.This is a high-impact, high-reward opportunity focused on residential and subdivision site development, offering top-of-market compensation for the right individual.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze project documents, including site plans, geotechnical reports, and civil drawings to develop accurate cost estimates.
• Prepare detailed takeoffs and pricing for mass excavation, grading, cut/fill, utilities, stormwater systems, and civil infrastructure.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and subcontractors to gather required data and ensure cost coverage.
• Use civil estimating tools to model site balances and generate bid proposals.
• Develop bid schedules and participate in pre-bid meetings and client presentations when required.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities, value engineering strategies, and potential project risks.
• Maintain historical data, production rates, and market cost trends to support bid accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of earthwork/site development estimating experience within residential subdivisions or private land development.
• Proficiency in earthwork-specific software (AGTEK, Trimble, HCSS, Bluebeam, etc.).
• Background working with site contractors or on self-perform site development projects.
