Founded and lead by Pediatric emergency physicians with a mission to provide an alternative for children who otherwise seek emergency care, we are academically drive, with the nations first Pediatric Urgent Care Fellowship program, a national annual conference ( and a significant repository of date available for research. We strive to be on the cutting edge of all aspects of pediatric medicine and are initiating a national telemedicine program in addition to our practices in multiple states. PM Pediatrics offices are set up like an ED but in a private practice setting with x-ray and lab services on site, highly skilled support staff, specialty consultations when necessary (i.e. plastic surgery, orthopedics...), and high acuity with a diverse case mix. PM Pediatrics also enjoys a solid relationship with our communities, maintaining an outstanding reputation with both patients and their primary care providers. Description PM Pediatrics is hiring additional PEM physicians and pediatricians with urgent care experience to join our team which includes over 60 PEM providers. Under the guidance of the Medical Director, physicians are responsible for evaluating and providing evidence-based treatment to pediatric patients in an urgent care setting.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: - Performing procedural care (abscess drainage, laceration repair with sutures, staples, and dermal adhesive, and foreign body removal)
- Assessment and treatment of acute injury
- Assessment and treatment of acute illness; including but not limited to anaphylaxis, procedural anxiolysis, respiratory distress, croup, and asthma care
- Providing preliminary interpretation of x-rays with official radiology over-reads
- Oversight of trainees and co-signing of APP's charts
- Manage a busy, fast-paced workflow
Compensation: $170,000 - $280,000

- Ability to critically think, multitask, and work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent computer skills and experience with EMR (eCW experience preferred)
- BC/BE in Pediatrics
- Urgent Care or Emergency Department experience
Compensation: $170,000 - $280,000
