Prior Digital Media experience REQUIRED
Prior YouTube experience STRONGLY PREFERRED
We are seeking a Writer for a successful YouTube creator (Over 25 million Subscribers across 3 channels). The content for the videos is a mix of family-friendly challenge and narrative videos. You will be working closely with a small team to create content, from ideation to final script delivery. Must be a self-starter who can work efficiently with minimal oversight. Looking for someone entrepreneurial who is excited to grow existing YouTube channels and new channels from the ground up.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Writing 1-2 scripts/outlines per week (~40 pages)
· Pitching new video ideas/concepts/formats in weekly creative meetings
· Conduct competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities in our niche
· Active, opinionated participant in every conversation regarding channel creative
· Incorporating notes from multiple different stakeholders to create the best video possible – including to accommodate production restraints or insights from retention analytics
· Championing the creative vision in interactions with all departments throughout the production process
· Writing for multiple channels
