Senior Software Engineer | Hybrid

Laine Recruiting has partnered with a global technology-driven organization in the physical security space to hire a Senior Software Engineer . This team builds secure, scalable software that supports mission-critical, enterprise systems used across diverse environments worldwide.

They’re looking for an engineer who enjoys solving complex problems, learning fast, and taking ownership—someone who values strong engineering practices, collaboration, and a positive team culture.

This is a direct-hire role with a hybrid schedule (up to 2 days/week remote). No sponsorship available.

What You’ll Do

• Design and build high-quality, scalable software solutions
• Translate business and user needs into secure, maintainable applications
• Collaborate cross-functionally through the full SDLC (design → deployment → optimization)
• Improve and refactor existing systems to reduce technical debt
• Develop and execute unit and integration tests
• Monitor production systems and drive continuous improvements
• Create clear technical documentation and design artifacts

What You Bring

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong skills in C#/.NET , Python , OOP, and design patterns
• Experience with RESTful services , testing, and source control
• Solid understanding of scalable application design and security concepts
• Ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly

Nice to Have

• Experience with access control or video management systems
• Front-end frameworks (React, JavaScript, HTML/CSS)
• Databases, CI/CD pipelines, big data, or AI-driven technologies

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $110,000–$140,000
