SUMMARY
This position is responsible for all aspects of land title research, including but not limited to, tax card research and retrieval, onsite and online title research and reporting. Responsible for preparing and reviewing Chain of Title and Limited Title Certification, preparation of Vesting and Marketable Title files and posting the files as required by performing the essential duties described herein. This is a safety sensitive position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Search, analyze, and evaluate records on title to land.
• Pull tax cards from Assessor records.
• Locate tax cards online.
• Perform onsite and/or online research necessary for Vesting and/or Marketable Title file production.
• Prepare and review Chain of Title and Limited Title Certificates.
• Reviews Chain of Title and Limited Title Certificates prepared by others.
• Assemble title files.
• Mentors right of way agents.
• Ability and flexibility to work in cooperation with all those assigned to the office.
• This position reports directly to the Title or Right of Way Supervisor, as assigned
