Title: Structural Steel 3D Detailer
Location: Gridley, KS
Summary:
We’re looking for a hands-on Structural Steel 3D Detailer to join our engineering team. In this role, you'll create 3D models and detailed drawings for complex dry bulk storage structures from concept to production. Work directly with customers and fabricators and see your designs come to life on the shop floor.
What you’ll do:
• Model structural steel, connections, stairs, mezzanines, and more in SDS2
• Produce 2D erection & fabrication drawings
• Generate CNC files, material lists, and shipping plans
• Support the shop and collaborate across Sales, Ops & Production
What we’re looking for:
• Associate Degree in Drafting/Engineering Tech
• 3+ years 3D detailing experience
• Preferred: SDS2 or TEKLA experience
• Strong structural steel knowledge (AISC, AWS, IBC, etc.)
• On-site availability, 45 hrs/wee
