Job Title : Packaging Operator Location : St. Louis, MO Pay Rate: $22/hr Type:  Contract , Potential for extension or conversion to permanent Overview Work as a High-Performance Team member supporting all aspects of team performance in order to produce a high-quality product in a safe environment while complying to all company policies and procedures in accordance with FDA regulations. Responsibilities Operate the packaging lines in the packaging department on a daily basis. Perform routine quality checks to ensure that the products are in accordance with the specification. Perform routine safety checks to ensure that the equipment is in a safe condition for operation. Ensure processes quality and compliance in accordance with established procedures and standards of the Quality System. Comply with and support the COMPANY Environmental, Health and Safety policies and procedures. Achieve Performance target for Packaging Lines. Participate in RCA for deviations. Participate in RCA for problems/breakdowns that occur on equipment. Perform and assist with preventative maintenance and autonomous maintenance on packaging production lines. Perform and assist with packaging production lines change overs to meet department needs. Perform and assist with 5S and cleaning activities to always meet good manufacturing practices. SAP functions-Batch reconciliation, Cycle Count, Material Movements, Confirmation, and Inventory control.
