About Epic Academics:
Epic Academics tutors students in grades K-12 for all school subject areas and test prep programs, including ACT, SAT, PSAT, and AP.
Epic is hiring math and science tutors who have the ability to teach high school levels of math & science through AP level:
- AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC
- AP Physics 1 & 2, AP Physics C
- AP Chemistry
- AP Biology
-AP English
IMPORTANT NOTE: This is NOT a remote position. Candidates must have the ability to tutor from our Schaumburg, IL, and Buffalo Grove, IL, center locations.
Responsibilities:
· Provide individualized instruction to students in tutoring sessions up to a 3:1 ratio
· Keep detailed daily records of each student's session
· Prepare individualized lessons
· Grade students' class work and homework
· Build meaningful relationships and academic rapport with students
· Shows positive attitude and professional demeanor
· Must be able to multitask and take directions
· Professional and timely communication, work within a team setting at the center
· Ability to tutor math and/or science subjects through AP Level
Requirements:
· Minimum: Completed Bachelor's Degree
· Pass our Teacher Qualifying Exam
· Tutoring/teaching experience is required
· Pass our audition/training
** Must be available to tutor after school hours/evenings, and weekends. **
