HCLTech is looking for a highly talented and self- motivated Discrete Manufacturing Industry Consultant /Business Architect to join it in advancing the technological world through innovation and creativity. We are looking for an accomplished IT Consulting Leader in the Manufacturing domain. Candidates must have a strong background in IT consulting and experience serving large Discrete Manufacturing Customers. We are looking for consultants with a proven track record in leading engagements at the process sponsor/owner level who will leverage their industry, strategy, process, and technology depth to bring significant ROI to clients.

Role/Responsibilities

Client Engagements:

• Work on direct Client engagements involving large transformation in Manufacturing and Supply chain business functions including Design, Order management, Sourcing, Production planning, Quality, Supply and demand planning. Knowledge in distribution management, transportation and replenishment would be a plus.
• Support practice and market development initiatives in Manufacturing business functions
• Work with Client process owners, business groups and enterprise architects to understand their business objectives and processes
• Mentor the Client organization and leadership to identify and redesign the business capabilities and KPIs. Lead and manage transformation planning.
• Prepare strategy documents including business architecture approach, program roadmap and business case
• Work in a strategic individual contributor role as industry principal and transformation consultant
• Leverage industry frameworks and standards for industry and business processes

Practice Building

• Provide thought leadership, white papers, and industry expertise while contributing to strengthening of architecture and process consulting practice
• Develop Customer specific proactive propositions with outcome orientation
• Work with HCLTech sales and delivery teams to identify and support new opportunities
• Support pre-sales activities such as proposals, SOW preparation, and Client presentations
• Create extensive process repositories for chosen domains
• Create Enterprise / Process Architecture frameworks and methodologies

Qualifications & Experience

• Demonstrated leadership, analytical, problem solving, and strong verbal and written communication skills
• A minimum of 10+ years’ relevant experience in Discrete Manufacturing domain working for Fortune 100 organizations
• Experience and thought leadership in Industry 4.0
• At least 10+ years’ experience in business transformation initiatives in an IT consulting role in a leading consulting firm
• Experience and knowledge with leading ERPs and manufacturing solutions is required
• Experience in process reengineering and architecture for large transformation initiatives
• Ability to analyse and share recommendations to improve/modify existing processes / systems for clients.
• Experience in client relationship management and pre-sales support

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range Minimum: $82,000 per year

Pay Range Maximum: $168,300 per year

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
