We’re hiring a Manager of Design Systems for a remote or hybrid opportunity based in Miami, Florida. This is a 6-month contract opportunity with the potential to extend.

In this role, you’ll join the Digital Creative Studio team at a global leader in travel and hospitality. The company is known for innovation, creativity, and delivering world-class guest experiences—offering an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of digital design across its global ecosystem. You will lead the strategy, governance, and evolution of a modern, mobile-first design system that powers guest-facing digital products across web, mobile, and onboard environments. The role is 100% remote unless located in Miami, FL, where it is hybrid.

Manager of Design Systems Responsibilities:

• Own and evolve a multi-brand, mobile-first design system across web and native platforms (SwiftUI, Jetpack Compose, React Native).
• Lead and mentor a small, high-performing team of product designers and engineers.
• Define system governance, contribution policies, release cycles, and documentation standards.
• Build and maintain design tokens for color, type, and spacing across multiple frameworks.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product and engineering to ensure alignment and adoption.
• Maintain and expand Figma component libraries, align with Storybook and GitHub codebases.
• Ensure accessibility (WCAG), performance, and platform-native behaviors are prioritized.
• Drive design system onboarding, workshops, and communications across digital teams.

Manager of Design Systems Qualifications:

• 5+ years in UX/Product Design or Front-End Development, including 2+ years in design system leadership.
• Proven experience managing multi-platform design systems for mobile and web.
• Expertise with Figma, design tokens, and documentation tools (Zeroheight, Storybook, GitHub).
• Working knowledge of SwiftUI, Jetpack Compose, and React Native.
• Strong understanding of accessibility standards and component architecture.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across design and engineering teams.
