One of our clients is hiring for Laboratory Technician (Chemicals) in Parrish, FL. This is a 6-month contract with the possibility of becoming permanent and offers $28/hour.

Work Schedule : 12 hours (6p-6a); Straight night shift on a 5-2-2-5 schedule (work 5 days, off 2 days, work 2 days, off 5 days)

Job description

The position is for a night shift analytical lab technician in the mining quality control lab. The technician will prepare, analyze, and report results for the facility to be able to view data results. will also perform housekeeping duties and sample disposal.

What will a person need for this role?

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• A person with a passion for chemistry, science and testing.
• Associates Degree in Chemistry or Science would be a huge plus.
• 1-2 years of Entry Level Laboratory work experience is highly preferred.
• 1-2 years experience in Microsoft Office Suite and Communications skills are needed
• Valid Drivers license is required.
• Physical work environment is typically indoors and at a consistent temperature.
• There are occasions the worker may go to other areas onsite, which would require short exposure to elements outdoors and varying degrees of hot and cold environments.
