Job Description

The Equipment Engineer is responsible for installing, maintaining, improving, and troubleshooting equipment used in the manufacturing of solar cells. This role ensures equipment operates efficiently and reliably to support high-yield, high-quality solar cell production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• 3+ years of equipment engineering experience in a high-tech manufacturing environment (semiconductor, solar, or related).
• Strong knowledge of vacuum systems, robotics, pneumatics, sensors, and PLCs.

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, and validate new production equipment for solar cell manufacturing (e.g., diffusion furnaces, PECVD, screen printers, wet benches, etc.).
• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control issues on production tools.
• Collaborate with process engineers to improve equipment performance, uptime, and process integration.
• Design and execute equipment upgrades to enhance productivity and reliability.

Compensation:

$90,000 to $110,000 per year annual salary.
