Our growing environmental group is looking for a mid-level Project Lead who thrives in both independent and team settings and is excited to make a meaningful impact across Northern New England.

What You’ll Do (Core Responsibilities)

Lead and support environmental site investigations and remediation projects

Draft clear, data-driven technical reports and documentation

Conduct fieldwork: soil sampling, borehole logging, well installation oversight, etc.

Collaborate with clients, regulators, and internal teams to ensure project success

Interpret environmental data and prepare visuals (cross-sections, site plans)

Travel to project sites regularly (primarily driving)

Must Haves

3+ years of experience in environmental consulting/project management

Degree in Geology, Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or related field

Proficiency in environmental sampling and remediation techniques

Familiarity with ASTM Phase I/II assessments

Excellent technical writing and communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Passion for sustainability and environmental stewardship

Nice to Haves

Strong understanding of state (ME/NH/and or VT) and federal environmental regulations

Experience with GIS, AutoCAD, or other environmental software

Ability to manage staff and subcontractors

OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER (or willingness to obtain)

Prior work with transactional due diligence or brownfield redevelopment

Interest in mentoring junior staff
