Job Overview

The EI&C Project Engineer III supports natural gas compression station projects, handling engineering deliverables for modifications and new construction. Works closely with project managers, engineers across disciplines, operations, maintenance, construction, vendors, and A&E firms to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Duties

• Plan, design, construct, and maintain natural gas compression facilities
• Lead or assist with engineering design, inspections, planning, specs, reports, permits, estimates, schedules, and field investigations
• Ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards
• Serve as on-site engineering representative as needed
• Review drawings, specifications, and project documentation
• Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and vendors
• Provide accurate, ethical engineering services within budget and timeline
• Travel to sites as required

Skills & Experience

• 5+ years EI&C engineering experience (Electrical or I&C; Control Systems preferred)
• Industrial facility or gas compressor station experience
• Procurement of engineered materials/equipment
• Experience preparing engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Strong analytical, communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities, emergent work, and outages

Education

• BS in Electrical Engineering (ABET accredited) OR 10 years of relevant I&C/Electrical design experience
• PE license preferred, not required
