Responsibilities:
• Provide engineering expertise to technical teams spanning multiple disciplines and geographies.
• Engage with internal stakeholders in product planning, development, and validation activities.
• Deploy and maintain NPI server products while overseeing the efforts of other engineers and contractors.
• Track and report status vs. objectives throughout the lifecycle of the program.
• Rack and stack servers, cable management in CLIENT Datacenter environment per defined guidelines.
Preferred Skills and Attributes:
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, both written and oral
• High attention to detail and good follow through in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in areas of data center system deployment, software development, and validation.
• Familiarity with testing tools, methodologies, and defect tracking
• Familiar with Jira or other ticketing systems
• Ability to function independently with little direct supervision.
• Physical Requirements – Candidate needs to be able to lift 50lbs and be flexible enough to get under a raised floor as needed.
• Should be able to travel on short notices.
• Soldering skills and CompTIA certification is a plus.
EDUCATION:
• 3+ years’ experience in high tech industry
• Relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Skilled in MS Office tool suites, Confluence, MS SharePoint
