Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Cambridge, MA, for a Young Toddler Lead Teacher. The Young Toddler Lead Teacher will plan and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities. They will ensure a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for toddlers to grow socially, emotionally, and academically. Responsibilities include daily care routines, maintaining communication with families, and collaborating with teaching assistants to foster a joyful and inclusive classroom culture.

Qualifications

• Experience with early childhood curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management
• EEC Teacher Certification
• Skills in child observation, assessment, and creating individualized care strategies
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills to engage with families and colleagues
• Knowledge of early childhood development, health, and safety standards
• Credential requirements: CDA or bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
• Ability to create a positive and supportive environment tailored to young toddlers
• Previous experience in a lead teacher role or working with young children highly valued
