Russell Tobin's client is hiring an Inventory Control/Warehouse Specialist in Everett, WA

Employment Type: Contract

Location: Onsite, Everett, WA 98203

Schedule: Multiple Schedules

Pay rate: $25-$30/hr

Description:

The role is seeking customer-focused individuals to support our satellite production team by processing materials and collaborating with teams like procurement, planning, quality, and EHS. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to spot discrepancies in both physical and digital data. Candidates should be comfortable working in a dynamic warehouse environment and performing a range of procedures. You will begin in one area—Receive, Put-Away, Pick, or Kit—and have opportunities to grow and take on additional responsibilities over time.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently handle material for both production and development efforts.
• Use proprietary software and SAP ERP systems to virtually transact material.
• Document system issues, process flaws and inefficiencies. Communicating with quality control, purchasing and other related departments to resolve problems.
• Efficiently move material between sites, both physically and virtually.
• Identify training needs for the team and assist in the training of new-hires and junior peers.
• Meet safety, productivity and quality standards by following best practices.
• Resolve individual work blockers and knowing when to escalate if you are unable to resolve yourself.
• Learn new processes.
• Operate equipment including: forklifts, pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, and hand carts.
• Contribute to the improvement of SOPs including safety procedures.

Requirements:

• 1 year of relevant experience either as an Associate Planner or Associate Buyer.
• Must be highly organized, self-starting, and comfortable with business software, such as Excel.
• Must be flexible, possess good written and oral communication skills, be team-oriented, and able to meet tight deadlines while working on several projects simultaneously.

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience with SAP and ERP software is preferred.
