Position: Unarmed Security Officer
Site: Sidetrack Club in the Boys Town Area

Job Description:.

• Part-Time: Friday (9pm-2:30am), Saturday(9pm-3:30am)
• Part-Time: Thursday(9pm-2:30am), Friday(9pm-2:30am), Saturday(9pm-3:30am), Sunday(6pm-2:30am).
• Location: Chicago, IL.
• Pay Rate: $18 Hourly.
• Paid Sick Time.
• Paid Vacation.

• Must have a working phone that is NFC compatible.

About the Job:

• We are looking for a fit and attentive Security Officer to ensure that our clients property and assets are protected.
• The Security Officer is responsible for patrolling the property, maintaining a visual deterrent while enforcing our clients policies and state law.
• Arrest and detain in the event of a crime happening in your presence.

Security Officer Responsibilities:

• Make guests aware of rules that must be adhered to.
• Remove trespassers or unwanted individuals from the property.
• Contact the relevant authorities if a crime is committed or an accident occurs.
• Report to supervisors regularly.
• Record any suspicious activities with the supervisor.
• Maintain daily activity reports.
• Write incident reports as necessary.
• You must be alert and professional.

Security Officer Requirements:

• A high school qualification or equivalent.
• State PERC License.
• Basic first aid skills would be advantageous.
• Physical strength and fitness.
• Prior experience as a Security Guard would be advantageous.
• Attention to detail.
• Must have a working phone that is NFC compatible.
• Must be able to stand and walk around the entire shift!
• A plus if you have a Duty Belt and Vest.

Physical Requirements:

• Constant – Seeing, hearing, feeling, standing, walking!
• Occasional – reaching, stooping, climbing, balancing, driving, bending, twisting, handling paperwork, carrying, lifting pushing, pulling, and gripping of objects ranging in weight from under 20 lbs. to over 50 lbs.
