Technical Project Manager – Application & Software Development

Location: Denver, CO (Hybrid: In-office Tue–Thu, Remote Mon & Fri)

Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire (Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship)

We are seeking a skilled Technical Project Manager with a strong background in IT project management—specifically in application development and software product development . This is a hybrid role based in Denver, Colorado , and candidates must currently reside in the Denver area . The position requires working onsite Tuesday through Thursday , with remote work on Mondays and Fridays .

What We’re Looking For:

You’re a hands-on project leader with proven experience managing software development projects across onshore and offshore teams . You understand modern development processes, communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams, and are driven to deliver high-quality results in a collaborative environment.

Ideal candidates will have experience in product-focused development initiatives.

Key Qualifications:

  • Technical project leadership experience, especially in application/software product development
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycles , IT systems, and modern technologies
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies , particularly Kanban ; Jira expertise is preferred
  • Effective communication and collaboration with distributed teams (onshore/offshore), including teams in India
  • Clear and proactive communication of project status, blockers, and changes via ticketing systems, Teams, and email
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to drive stakeholder engagement and buy-in
  • Experience managing risks, adapting to change , and navigating shifting priorities
  • A customer-focused mindset , especially in keeping internal stakeholders informed and supported

Additional Details:

  • This is a contract-to-hire role with the intention of converting to full-time after 6 months
  • You must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship
