STUDENT HOUSING - LEASING MANAGER - Ann Arbor, MI

Student Housing Leasing experience and Entrata knowledge required.

Summary: The Student Housing Leasing Manager will assist the Property Management team in driving the property leasing efforts.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  1. Work closely with the team to maximize revenue, occupancy, resident, and retention goals.
  2. Generate traffic, participate in outreach marketing, execute marketing plan, think outside the box to drive leasing efforts to hit leasing goals.
  3. Lease and renew beds/apartments, generate leases, follow new lease and renewal procedures.
  4. Tour prospective residents, provide information on property amenities and services, create excitement and desire to live in the community.
  5. Communicate with residents and prospective residents in person or via phone, text, email, social media and online sources.
  6. Respond quicky to inquiries questions and concerns from residents and prospects.
  7. Participate in and host fun community events.
  8. Report accurate daily, weekly and monthly leasing activity.
  9. Provide exemplary customer service to residents, prospectives and visitors.
  10. Create a fun and positive environment for residents.
  11. Enforce community policies.
  12. Assist in leading, developing and training the leasing team.
  13. All other duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications Required:

  • Strong commitment to company goals and values.
  • Prior leasing experience 2+ years in Student Housing Required.
  • Knowledge of Entrata required; proficient computer skills necessary.
  • Able to build rapport, make genuine connections and create an exciting environment.
  • Pleasant attitude to all prospects, residents and associates.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Strong marketing skills, outgoing, self-starter, creative.
  • Thorough knowledge of all aspects of student housing and leasing beds/apartments.
  • Ability to continually close on prospects and lease apartments.
  • Ability to communicate, read, write in English; bi-lingual a plus.
  • Reliable transportation.
