We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as an  Sr. Division Order & Title Analyst in  Tulsa, OK . As an Analyst, you  will be r esponsible for determining ownership of minerals, calculating mineral acres, verifying purchaser division orders and determining obligations under title requirements.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Reviews title-related instruments including, but not limited to, assignments, deeds, trusts, last will and testaments, affidavit of heirships, court orders and title opinions to determine ownership of minerals.
  • Verifies purchaser division orders to ensure the correct decimal interest is shown and determines obligations under title requirements before payments are rendered.
  • Assists with projects requiring due diligence, research and analysis.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned and required by management

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • This position has no supervisor responsibilities

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate's degree Energy Management, Business, or related field preferred
  1. High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certificate of competency and 4+ years of work experience in lieu of Associate’s Degree 
  • 5+ years’ experience working with division orders or title.
  • Acquired or eligible to pursue AAPL accreditation
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (i.e. Excel, Word and Power Point).
  • Familiar with web-based mapping tools (i.e. ArcGIS, Drilling Info, etc.).
  • Ability to understand, interpret and communicate complex property legal descriptions.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: 

  • Continually required to sit, talk/hear and utilize visual acuity to operate equipment, read a computer monitor and use a keyboard.
  • Occasionally required to lift/push/carry items up to 50 pounds
