Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location: Glendive Medical Center – Glendive, Montana

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Status: Full-Time | Non-Exempt | On-Site

Your Role: Speech Language Pathologist

As an SLP at GMC, you’ll work with patients of all ages, helping them overcome challenges in speech, language, communication, cognition, and swallowing. You’ll be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team that values innovation, compassion, and personalized care.

What You’ll Do

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Educate and counsel patients and families on diagnoses, progress, and care strategies.
• Set clear, achievable goals for therapy and track patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community partners.
• Provide outreach services at local public schools (minimal travel required).

What You Bring

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field.
• Active Montana SLP license.
• 1–3 years of experience in speech-language pathology.
• ASHA certification preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Medicaid, Medicare, and private insurance plans.
• Basic computer literacy and ability to meet regulatory standards.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit for extended periods and work at a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.

Additional Job Information:

• This is a non-exempt, hourly position and employees are paid on a bi-weekly basis
• Position may be eligible for recruitment incentives. For example: Sign-on, Moving Assistance, Tuition Reimbursement, etc.
• Typical Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00AM – 5:00PM.
• On Site – 202 Prospect Dr, Glendive MT 59330
