We utilize modern web technologies to keep our company on the cutting edge of these industries and we’re looking for a smart, hands-on developer to help us continue to grow.

💻 What You’ll Do

As a Software Developer at Life Protect 24/7, you’ll join a small, fast-moving, and collaborative development team where your work will be seen, used, and appreciated. From our cloud-based call center systems to internal productivity tools and custom-built kiosk/touchpoint apps, your code will power the heartbeat of the business.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Designing, building, and maintaining cloud-first web applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Enhancing and expanding our internal RESTful APIs and integrating with third-party APIs
• Automating deployment and version control for 500+ on-prem and remote devices
• Helping us modernize our CI/CD workflows using tools like Docker, and GitLab
• Documenting systems, processes, and deployment pipelines to help scale the team

🧠 What We’re Looking For

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of experience with PHP (OOP and frameworks)
• 2+ years with JavaScript
• 1+ years of experience deploying applications on cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure)
• Strong Git/GitLab experience for version control
• Experience working in high-load, high-scale environments
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, self-directed mindset
• Experience with Docker in development or production

Bonus Points For:

• Frontend experience with React or other modern JS frameworks
• Comfortable in Linux environments
• Understanding of PCI/DSS compliance
• A good design eye and user-centric thinking
• A love of learning and staying up to date on tech trends
