Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and personable Part-Time Shuttle Driver to join our Ziems team! The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record and a professional appearance, as they will be customer-facing. This role involves transporting customers to and from our dealership for vehicle service appointments, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and positive experience. Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Transportation: Safely pick up customers from their homes or commercial properties and transport them to the dealership to collect their vehicles.
• Service Drop-Offs: Drive customers to their homes or places of work after they have dropped off their vehicles for service.
• Route Planning: Efficiently plan and navigate routes to minimize travel time and ensure timely arrivals and departures.
• Customer Interaction: Greet customers warmly, provide excellent customer service, and engage in friendly conversation to create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Monitor shuttle vehicle and communicate with service department for any needed maintenance or repairs needed on shuttle vehicle(s).
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies to ensure the safety of both passengers and the vehicle.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of passenger pickups and drop-offs, as well as any incidents that occur during shifts.

Qualifications:

• Driving Record: Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Availability: Flexible schedule, available to work 2-3 days per week, including mornings, afternoons, and possibly weekends.
• Appearance: Presentable and professional demeanor; appropriate attire is required to represent the company positively.
• Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with a gregarious personality preferred to enhance customer interaction and satisfaction.
• Experience: Previous experience in a driving or customer service role is a plus, but not required.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to assist customers in and out of the vehicle as needed.
• Must be able to sit for extended periods while driving.
• Ability to lift and carry items (e.g., small bags or personal items) as required.
