Job Description

Akkodis is seeking a Senior Manager with expertise in Film Coating to lead and optimize film coating operations in a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role drives product quality, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance while building and developing a high-performing team. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise in film coating processes, leadership experience in a manufacturing setting, and a passion for continuous improvement.

Salary Range: $140,000-$160,000

What You’ll Do

• Lead day-to-day film coating operations across multi-shift teams.
• Ensure safety, quality, and production goals are consistently achieved.
• Drive process improvements to boost yield, throughput, and efficiency.
• Partner with R&D, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain on new products, validations, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, FDA, OSHA, and other regulations.
• Mentor and develop supervisors, operators, and technicians.
• Support capital projects, including equipment upgrades and automation initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Coating Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 8+ years of manufacturing/operations experience, with 3+ years in leadership.
• Strong knowledge of coating processes, equipment, and formulations.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other CI methodologies.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
