Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for an Senior Maintenance Project Manager for a leading federal facilities management services provider. This full-time position is onsite in New York City.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Senior Maintenance Project Manager plays a critical leadership role in supporting large-scale federal building operations and facilities management. This position oversees a team responsible for maintenance, safety, and project execution across over 1 million square feet of infrastructure. The role supports the Executive Project Manager and ensures consistent operations, contract compliance, and team coordination with union and federal stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee daily operations of the facilities team, ensuring safety, compliance, and smooth execution of preventative/reactive maintenance
• Lead planning and execution of special projects, including scope development, performance tracking, and stakeholder coordination
• Supervise and support a team of administrative and engineering personnel while collaborating with union engineers
• Utilize CMMS systems to manage maintenance workflows and ensure timely delivery
• Report progress, risks, and changes to Senior Project Manager and Regional Director

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven leadership in managing facilities or project operations in commercial buildings of at least 1,000,000 sq. ft.
• Hands-on experience with building systems such as HVAC, UPS, chillers, generators, fire alarms, and switchgear; and 5+ years facilities or project management experience
• Proficiency using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills; ability to lead and work independently
• Must be eligible to obtain federal PIV clearance (background check and fingerprinting required)

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
