ClaimWizard, the leader in insurance claim management software, is looking for an senior-level Java developer to join our team. You'll help build powerful tools that assists in getting people back on their feet after catastrophic losses—floods, fires, hurricanes, and more. ClaimWizard is a suite of web-based and mobile applications that will test your skills and help develop it beyond basic, traditional web development. In addition to a strong background in Enterprise Java, candidates should have full competency with the Spring Framework (MVC, Boot, Integration, AI), OAuth, REST and SQL w/JDBC. Prior integration experience with platforms like S3, Stripe, Zapier, Dropbox, or Google's API suite is also required.

What You'll Do

• Design and maintain enterprise-level Java applications
• Build integrations with APIs (S3, Stripe, Zapier, Google, Microsoft, AI/LLM platforms, etc.)
• Enhance our CRM-based workflow platform
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional team members

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of Java + Spring Framework experience (MVC, Boot, Security, Integration)
• Strong SQL skills (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, etc.)
• Experience with OAuth, JWT, and external API integrations
• Experience with build and CI tooling
• Requirement and Functional Specification authoring experience
• Lives in San Antonio, TX area – this is an on-premise role
• Strong communicator, self-directed, and team-focused

Bonus Points

• AWS production experience
• Spring AI
• Experience with unit testing (JUnit, Mockito)
• Prior work in insurance, fintech, or workflow platforms
