Job Description

Long’s Jewelers is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Luxury Fashion Jewelry Sales Professional to join our team in our Braintree, MA location. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys styling and accessorizing clients with stunning, coveted name-brand designer pieces. If you excel in building client relationships and providing unparalleled customer experiences, this job could be for you! Must be a highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work with limited oversight.

Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Cultivate on-going relationships with customers with a focus on return visits and future purchasing opportunities.
  • Demonstrate successful outreach to potential and existing customers through proactive clientelling.
  • Achieve sales objectives by focusing on the best-possible customer experience through storytelling, personalized service, and authentic interactions with every customer.
  • Embrace continuous learning across all product lines and categories, including stones, metals, settings, brands, etc…
  • Assist with daily opening and closing tasks, including inventory counts and set up/break down of on-floor product.
  • Consistently exhibit a professional manner and composure with all customers, peers, and management.

Requirements:

  • Some experience in luxury retail product sales. Prior fine jewelry and/or luxury timepieces preferred.
  • Must have a passion for fine jewelry and luxury timepieces, with a strong sense of fashion and style sensibility.
  • Proven ability to grow YOY sales and customer base over time, with a strong desire to build ongoing customer relationships.
  • Ability to grasp product details and be able to communicate what makes a product or vendor unique and of value.
  • Ability to work in a team setting and to embrace Long’s values.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time during sales floor shifts.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to represent Long’s in the utmost professional manner at all times.
