Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Tester to join our Software Development team. In this role, you will validate new features, test bug fixes, and ensure that system enhancements meet business requirements before release. You’ll collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and support teams to verify functionality, identify issues, and maintain high software quality.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, analyzing system behavior, and ensuring that software performs exactly as intended.
Yiddish speaking is preferred to support communication with certain internal teams and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
• Test new features, bug fixes, enhancements, and system updates
• Create and manage test datasets to validate system behavior
• Perform both UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and QA testing
• Document defects clearly and work with developers to reproduce and resolve issues
• Validate that delivered work matches requirements and acceptance criteria
• Participate in sprint ceremonies, including planning, review, and retrospectives
• Ensure system stability by thoroughly testing workflows, edge cases, and integrations
• Contribute to improving QA processes, documentation, and testing standards
Requirements
• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to identify inconsistencies and unexpected behaviors
• Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams
• Strong problem-solving ability and comfort analyzing complex scenarios
• Understanding of basic software development lifecycle practices
• Ability to work within an Agile, sprint-based framework
• Interest in QA, testing methodologies, and process improvement
• Yiddish speaking preferred
Preferred Skills
• Prior QA or UAT testing experience
• Familiarity with tools like Bitbucket , Jira, or similar
• Exposure to Agile methodologies and sprint workflows
• Understanding of User Acceptance Criteria best practices
