About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Microsoft Project Scheduler with a current Top Secret Clearance to support a federal program near Washington, D.C.

The ideal candidate will have deep experience with Earned Value Management (EVM), scheduling best practices, and project controls to support large-scale federal initiatives.

This is a mostly remote position with occasional travel to the D.C. area, offering flexibility while contributing to impactful work in support of national missions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update integrated project schedules using Microsoft Project
• Perform schedule analysis, baseline management, and critical path identification
• Ensure compliance with project planning standards and contractual requirements
• Support Earned Value Management (EVM) reporting and analysis
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project managers, technical leads, and government stakeholders
• Support program reviews, audits, and briefings with accurate and timely scheduling data
• Participate in risk management and resource loading activities

Requirements

• Active Top Secret Clearance (required)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project scheduling, preferably in a federal or defense environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project (desktop and/or online)
• Strong experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
• Familiarity with ANSI/EIA-748 EVM standards is a plus
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting deadlines
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent experience)
