Job Description

TRC is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join a growing team. This person will be responsible for supporting bill of materials management, item master management, and inventory process flow in a manufacturing production environment. This role will focus on driving efficiency, quality, and safety throughout our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and manage Bill of Material change order process
• Manage Bill of Materials and update any needed changes in a timely manner
• Set up new items and maintain existing items
• Support and document process flow for inventory throughput
• Support Plan for Every Part initiative
• Recognize and report usage trends and any continuous changes
• Support change management initiatives through cross functional communication (Project Managers, Quality, Production, Accounting)
• Evaluate Supplier performance, and work with Procurement, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality to prioritize improvements needed for incoming products and/or services.
• Managing Supply Chain projects from initiation to close: project vetting, team formation, planning, execution, stakeholder alignment/communication, and capture of delivered value

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience in Supply chain solutions with an emphasis on inventory management
• 2 to 7 years of experience in procurement, logistics, and/or materials management
• Strong, hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 necessary
• Ability to read mechanical drawings (Blueprints) or learn how to
• Hands-on approach with a focus on safety, quality, and teamwork.
• Working knowledge of Process Excellence Tools (Six Sigma & Lean).
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency w/ statistical analysis tools (Green or Black Belt certification preferred)
