Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM (8-hour shifts)

What You'll Do:

As a Prior Authorization Specialist, you’ll play a vital role in streamlining the prior authorization process for specialty medications. You’ll work closely with physician offices, insurance providers, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate submissions. Your key responsibilities include:

• Communicating with prescriber offices via phone, chat, or email to manage prior authorization stages.
• Navigating insurance plans to verify benefits, understand requirements, and track authorization status.
• Leveraging technology to deliver efficient, up-to-date patient care.
• Problem-solving complex issues and coordinating with internal teams for resolution.

What you Bring:

• High school diploma required; Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty pharmacy, prior authorization, and benefit verification.
• Strong knowledge of drug nomenclature, medical terminology, and insurance navigation.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and computer skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Critical thinking and self-management skills.
