Physician Assistant – Gastroenterology (Multiple Locations Across Gwinnett County, GA)

A leading Gastroenterology practice with six outpatient locations across Gwinnett County, Georgia is seeking two experienced Physician Assistants (PAs) to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity to step into a lead Physician Assistant role within a collaborative, well-established private practice that provides high-quality care to adult patients across the region.

About the Role

As a Physician Assistant specializing in Gastroenterology, you’ll work alongside a team of experienced gastroenterologists to deliver comprehensive outpatient care.

You’ll perform evaluations, assist in diagnostic procedures, and help develop personalized treatment plans — all while enjoying a consistent Monday-Friday schedule with no hospital rounds required.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Patient Load: Approximately 10–12 patients per morning and afternoon

Patient Population: Adults (18+), primarily female

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments, medical histories, and physical exams
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging
• Assist in and manage gastroenterological procedures (endoscopy, colonoscopy, etc.)
• Collaborate with physicians on treatment plans and care coordination
• Provide patient education on GI conditions, procedures, and wellness
• Maintain accurate and compliant medical documentation

Qualifications

Required:

• Active Georgia Physician Assistant License
• 1–2 years of Gastroenterology experience , preferably in a private practice setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong teamwork and patient-centered approach

Preferred Qualities

• Prior leadership or senior PA experience
• Ability to manage a high-volume outpatient caseload
• Experience working primarily with female patient populations

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $90,000 – $140,000 (commensurate with experience)
• PTO: Up to 4 weeks (negotiable)
