Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY)is adding a Pathology Assistant to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln. The Hospital is part of NYC Health + Hospitals. Lincoln is a designated Level I Trauma and Stroke Center and has Centers of Excellence in all medical specialties including its award- winning Cancer and Breast Centers.

• Description of surgical specimens and dissection of large, complex, medium and small specimens.
• Preparation and submission of histologic sections.
• Reviewing of pertinent clinical data in Epic.
• Using Voice Brook system in gross dictation.
• Taking photographs of selective cases. 6.Capable of ding the technical part of frozen section.
• Participates in regular meetings and quality control of anatomic pathology
• Coordinates with laboratory accesionists, histology technicians, pathologists and other lab staff
• Day shift, regular hours.

Qualifications

• NYS license as a Pathology Assistant
• One year experience as a Pathology Assistant is preferred
