Position Description:
EIT, Inc. is looking for an OSHA Safety Inspector to join our team. The right candidate must have at-least 3 years of experience conducting OSHA safety inspections and training. Prerequisite experience includes maintaining multiple OSHA training certificates. Our team supports the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) William J. Hughes Technical Center, Atlantic City International Airport, NJ. Responsibilities include conducting safety inspections, preparing training materials and conducting personnel training within the framework of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements. Performance on the job involves walking, standing, bending or climbing and carrying of small and light objects; Individuals must be capable of being medically fit to wear a respirator also.
Minimum Qualifications
· A Bachelor’s degree with at least 24-hours of coursework, certificate or training in (OSHA) Occupational Safety and Health Field related to safety, health, industrial hygiene, occupational medicine, toxicology, public health, mathematics, physics, chemistry, biological sciences, engineering and industrial psychology. Must also be compliant with hearing conservation programs. Candidates that already having OSHA 6005 certification and training will be highly regarded.
· Three (3) years of relevant experience in the field of Safety training and conducting safety inspections to ensure compliance with OSHA requirements.
