Orthopedic Physician Assistant

Sports Medicine Focus

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Orthopedic Physician Assistant to join a high performing orthopedic and sports medicine team.

This role offers a balanced schedule with a strong mix of clinic and surgical time and the opportunity to work closely with orthopedic surgeons in a collaborative environment.

Schedule:

• Three days per week in the clinic
• Two days per week in surgery

Clinical and Surgical Focus:

• Sports Medicine
• Knee and Shoulder Arthroscopy
• Fracture Care
• Total and Partial Knee Replacement

Responsibilities:

• Assist in orthopedic surgical cases including arthroscopy and joint replacement
• Evaluate and treat patients in the clinic setting
• Perform pre-operative and post-operative patient care
• Manage fracture care and follow up
• Collaborate closely with surgeons athletic trainers and clinical staff
• Provide high quality patient centered orthopedic care

Qualifications:

• Physician Assistant certification and active or eligible state licensure
• Orthopedic or sports medicine experience preferred
• Experience assisting in orthopedic surgery strongly preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Team oriented mindset with a passion for sports medicine
