Office Clerk/Assistant

Mayfair Golden Manor (MGM) is an independent living senior/disabled housing cooperative that has 210 units with over 260 residents.

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about assisting our residents as well as having experience in an office setting and have exceptional filing skills. Communication skills are essential to maintain respectful relationships with residents and team members.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist office staff and residents with the daily operation of Mayfair Golden Manor. Some duties will include but not limited to:

• Answer phones and front door with a positive attitude and exceptional manners
• Assist the office with completion of projects that range from: resident files, data entry using Excel, processing rental payments monthly, engaging with the residents in a professional/kind manner
• Daily organization of paperwork and files
• Flexibility to take on extra job duties given by Management

QUALIFICATIONS

• Compassion for and desire to work with senior population.
• High School Diploma required, associate degree highly preferred.
• Excellent organization and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to work with a team and independently.
• Must have ability to innovate, think strategically and conceptually, manage multiple projects simultaneously and handle difficult situations.
• Must be a professional, proactive, collaborative, and responsible individual.
• Must have a positive demeanor.
• Must be motivated to learn and flexible to change.
• Proficient experience with Windows Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Publisher and Excel.
• Must possess a valid California Driver’s License and have reliable transportation.
• Knowledge of Onesite preferred but will train.

HOURS PER WEEK: 24 HOURS A WEEK with possibility of increased hours

PAY & BENEFITS

Mayfair Golden Manor offers an outstanding salary and very generous benefit package:

· $25 PER HOUR (Salary negotiable depending on experience)
