Operating Room Nurse Manager

📍 Indianapolis, IN

Full-Time | Monday–Friday | No Nights, No Weekends

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Operating Room Nurse Manager to lead clinical operations at our Outpatient Surgery Center in Indianapolis, IN . This position oversees both surgical services and perioperative areas, including Pre-op, Post-op, and PACU.

👥 Team Oversight

This Nurse Manager is responsible for daily operations and leadership of approximately 53 direct reports

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the OR and perioperative teams in a busy outpatient surgery center
• Ensure safe, efficient patient care and smooth daily workflow
• Provide direct supervision, mentorship, and performance management
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and other clinical leaders
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and patient safety protocols
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and quality improvement initiatives

📋 Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an ACEN or CCNE-accredited program
• Active Indiana or Compact RN license
• CNOR certification required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• 4–6 years of perioperative/OR nursing experience required
• 6–8 years preferred , including direct supervisory experience in an OR setting
• Strong background as a circulating nurse in a surgical environment
