Title: Sr. Mobile Developer (Android and/or iOS opportunities)

Type of role: Direct-hire/Full-time (On-site/In-office. The role includes 3 days’ work from home a month)

Location: Charlotte, Southend area (On-site)

Compensation: $100K – 140K (Based on relevant experience.)

Position overview:

We are recruiting experienced and passionate mobile developers to join a collaborative team of talented engineers that will create and maintain Android and iOS applications using native platform tools and code as well as cross-platform MAUI. The client is an innovative software development company that continues to grow.

Qualified candidates must be familiar with Android, iOS or both ecosystem(s) and mobile app development, including familiarity with popular app frameworks and mobile development best practices

Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing new Android and iOS applications using Kotlin, Swift and C#
• Maintaining and extending existing Android and iOS applications
• Possess knowledge of and help to implement Android and iOS development best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve any defects that may arise
• Implement manual & automated testing
• Work with cross -functional team members including but not limited to: Product Owners to define requirements, QA to ensure accuracy and Project Managers to ensure timelines and deliverables are met.
• Mobile developers will produce technical documents, research and learn new technologies as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent professional experience
• A minimum of 4 years’ professional working experience developing production Android, iOS or both applications through all phases
• Some combination of: Kotlin & Jetpack Compose Android, Swift & Swift UI iOS and/or C# Xamarin/MAUI development experience
• MVVM and related mobile application architecture and design patterns
• Experience with JSON, XAML/XML and REST Web Services
• Experience with GIT, Jira and Azure pipelines
• Ability to quickly learn and understand internal systems, procedures and methodologies
• API design and development experience a plus
• Knowledge of SQL a plus
• Accessibility, Unit & UI testing a plus
• Must have excellent communication skills and work well with others
• Team oriented and product focused
