Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Manufacturing Lab Technician located in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The Manufacturing Lab Technician will be responsible for operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, ensuring quality control, and contributing to research and development activities. Day-to-day tasks include performing laboratory tests, recording data, analyzing results, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality protocols. The technician will also support the development of new processes and the optimization of existing ones.

Starting pay for this position is $21.00 / hour

Qualifications

• Assist in the production of cannabis-derived products, including refinement, distillation and formulation
• Accurately weigh, measure, and prepare materials following batch reports
• Operate manufacturing equipment safely and efficiantly
• Adhere to all SOP and GMP standards
• Document production activities thoroughly and accurately
• Maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring it is calibrated and functioning correctly
• Assist in the development of new laboratory procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy
• Maintain cleanliness and organization
• Proficiency with Laboratory Equipment and Laboratory Skills
• Experience in Quality Control and Analytical Skills
• Previous experience working as a Laboratory Technician
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries is a plus
