Job Title: Total Rewards Manager

Location (city, state): Waltham, MA (Hybrid – 3 days in-office)

Industry: Human Resources / Total Rewards

Pay: $130,000 – $145,000 + bonus

About Our Client: Addison Group is hiring on behalf of a growing organization seeking a Total Rewards Manager to lead compensation, benefits, recognition, and total rewards programs. This role offers the opportunity to drive strategy across multiple locations and make a meaningful impact on employee engagement, retention, and performance.

Job Description: The Total Rewards Manager is responsible for the strategic direction, design, and management of compensation, benefits, and total rewards programs for a large, multi-site organization. This role works closely with senior leadership to ensure programs are competitive, compliant, and aligned with business goals, while enhancing employee satisfaction and engagement. The manager will lead a team of specialists and collaborate with HR and payroll to optimize total rewards offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee salary structures, job evaluations, market benchmarking, and pay equity to ensure competitive compensation practices.
  • Manage health, retirement, wellness, PTO, and other benefits programs; collaborate with vendors to maintain compliance and maximize employee value.
  • Lead incentive and recognition program design to drive engagement, performance, and retention.
  • Provide analytics and reporting on rewards program effectiveness and recommend strategic improvements.
  • Ensure all total rewards programs comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Communicate programs and educate employees and managers to ensure understanding and participation.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop Total Rewards Specialists to deliver high-quality support.
  • Assess and refine programs and processes to ensure efficiency, alignment, and scalability across multiple sites.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Compensation, Benefits, or Total Rewards (strong emphasis on compensation experience).
  • Proven knowledge of compensation and benefits practices, laws, and compliance.
  • Experience leading and developing a team.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly, acknowledge knowledge gaps, and train others.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree, experience with HRIS (Dayforce a plus), recognition program design, executive compensation familiarity.
