Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of facilities through routine maintenance and repairs as well as working under minimum supervision. This role requires a strong mechanical and electrical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot various systems, making it essential for maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

Duties

• Performs preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment and tools in accordance with established preventive maintenance programs. Cleans, lubricates and/or replaces parts.
• Disassembles mechanical equipment and tools, repairs or replaces worn or broken parts, and reassembles. Adjusts parts of mechanical devices as needed. Inspects completed repairs.
• Examines equipment and tools to diagnose trouble.
• Read and interpret schematics to understand complex systems and identify problems.
• Maintain mechanical equipment, including logic controllers, to ensure optimal performance.
• Provides basic maintenance to plant structure and performs electrical and light plumbing work.
• Communicate regularly with the Facilities Engineer, Supervisors, and Lead Person to coordinate matters related to the maintenance of equipment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Five years of relevant training in one or more maintenance positions
• Mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic skills are required with a proven record of work history
• Proven experience in facilities maintenance as well as safety programs in a manufacturing environment.
• Leadership skills with experience supervising maintenance projects.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.

1st Shift from (Monday - Friday) 7AM - 3:30PM, 2 Saturdays a month.

2nd Shift From (Monday - Thursday) 3PM - 1AM, 2 Saturdays a month.

Must pass background and drug screen requirements
