Main Duties:

• Aid the Operations Manager in developing, designing, and integrating new brewing technologies and process improvements
• Lead and manage a Maintenance Team
• Coach and develop technical staff, managing their performance
• Ensure proper rostering and staff management through the HR Information System
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, focusing on product, cost and process quality
• Oversee and implement the preventive maintenance program for Brewing, Beer Processing, and Water Treatment
• Assign and schedule tasks accordingly
• Manage scheduled maintenance on plant equipment and machinery, liaising with service providers and suppliers
• Maintain accurate spare parts inventory in the companys ERP system
• Organize immediate troubleshooting and repairs in case of breakdowns
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with Occupational Health & Safety (OHS), Quality, and Food Safety standards
• Collaborate with the Operations Manager and Brewers to align maintenance schedules with production planning
• Regularly monitor process data, production performance, and utility consumption trends
• Conduct and manage risk assessments, implementing necessary safety measures to protect employees
• Be available outside normal working hours to provide guidance and support in case of critical equipment failures

What skills do you need?

• Bachelors degree in Engineering
• 3-5 years of leadership experience in a technical environment
• Strong background in electrical and mechanical maintenance, including manufacturing process automation
• Experience in project management
• Strong organizational and decision-making skills, with the ability to plan, organize, and schedule work efficiently
• Proven leadership skills, capable of providing technical guidance to team members and external contractors
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Eligibility to work in the EU is a must
