Job Description

Consilio's ELS Direct Hire Division is seeking a litigation legal secretary on behalf of a law firm in Woodbridge, VA. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized and have a strong understanding of the litigation process and supporting attorneys.

Responsibilities:

• Draft, proofread and finalize routine correspondence.
• Maintain attorneys calendar and send deadline reminders.
• Proven ability and knowledge of filing procedures in VA and DC courts.
• Review, update and edit attorney monthly invoices.
• Submit expense reimbursements on behalf of attorneys.
• Manage travel arrangements for attorneys.
• Assist with discovery responses, trial binders and court dates.
• All other administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of litigation legal secretary experience.
• Understanding of court filing procedures.
• Must be able to work independently, in a high-paced environment.
• Proficiency in all Microsoft products.
