We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Administrative Assistant to support a team of Toxic Tort attorneys in our San Francisco office. This role involves a variety of administrative and legal support tasks, including drafting pleadings, managing calendars, and handling file management.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupport a team of Toxic Tort attorneys in all phases of litigation.
Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses.
Manage and maintain the team's appearance calendar using Outlook and eDockets.
Schedule hearings, depositions, court appearances, and meetings.
File and serve documents in state, federal, and appellate courts.
Process vendor invoices and assist with billing inquiries.
Handle check requests and reimbursements.
Assist with travel and conference planning.
3-5 years of legal support experience, preferably in Toxic Tort or insurance defense litigation.
Proficiency in drafting pleadings, calendaring, and file management.
Familiarity with state and federal court rules and procedures.
Experience with eDockets, iManage, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
