Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Administrative Assistant to support a team of Toxic Tort attorneys in our San Francisco office. This role involves a variety of administrative and legal support tasks, including drafting pleadings, managing calendars, and handling file management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support a team of Toxic Tort attorneys in all phases of litigation.

  • Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses.

  • Manage and maintain the team's appearance calendar using Outlook and eDockets.

  • Schedule hearings, depositions, court appearances, and meetings.

  • File and serve documents in state, federal, and appellate courts.

  • Process vendor invoices and assist with billing inquiries.

  • Handle check requests and reimbursements.

  • Assist with travel and conference planning.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of legal support experience, preferably in Toxic Tort or insurance defense litigation.

  • Proficiency in drafting pleadings, calendaring, and file management.

  • Familiarity with state and federal court rules and procedures.

  • Experience with eDockets, iManage, and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
