Job Title:   Lease Operator II (Frac Site)

Location:   Carlsbad, NM
Schedule: 8 Days On / 6 Days Off
Pay Rate: $40.00/hr

Position Overview

The Lease Operator II is responsible for providing field operations support at frac sites and associated facilities, ensuring all activities are performed safely and in compliance with ExxonMobil standards. This role involves coordination with company representatives and vendors, inspection of pipelines and transfer equipment, verification of pressure testing, and documentation of maintenance records.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily field activities with Company Man at active frac sites
• Interface with vendors at future frac, trace, and toe pre-locations
• Verify pressure testing is conducted correctly and in compliance with ExxonMobil safety standards and procedures
• Conduct routine inspections of pipelines for leaks, damage, or integrity concerns
• Inspect pumps and transfer equipment associated with frac and fluid movement operations
• Ensure all pumps and associated equipment are operating safely and efficiently
• Collect, review, and maintain required maintenance and inspection records
• Identify and report safety, operational, or environmental concerns immediately
• Maintain compliance with all SSHE (Safety, Security, Health & Environmental) requirements
• Support continuous improvement efforts and safe work practices in the field

Skills & Qualifications

• Prior lease operator or field operations experience in oil & gas preferred
• Experience working around frac operations, transfer equipment, and pipelines
• Strong understanding of pressure testing procedures and safety requirements
• Ability to coordinate effectively with company personnel and third-party vendors
• Strong observational skills with attention to detail
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work rotational schedule and outdoor field environments
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
