Job Title: Learning Management Consultant - Clinical Trial Education & Digital Learning
Location: Pleasanton, CA (Hybrid)
Pay: $30-$38/hour
Hours: M-F, 8:30am-5pm
Summary
This individual contributor role supports clinical trial education and professional development efforts through strategic management of digital learning platforms, internal resource hubs, and public-facing content. The Consultant plays a key role in supporting the implementation of LMS systems, managing internal resources and communications, and coordinating cross-functional training initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Support the planning, execution, and sustainment of LMS implementations and digital learning initiatives. Assist in developing project plans, timelines, and stakeholder communications to ensure successful delivery.
- Manage configuration, deployment, and ongoing support of ACRP and document management platforms, ensuring content accessibility, relevance, and regulatory compliance.
- Update and maintain training and communication records with accuracy and brand consistency.
- Assist with administrative and operational aspects of training programs and professional development events, including preparing presentation materials, managing participant communications, and coordinating logistics.
- Monitor engagement with digital learning tools and support reporting and analytics efforts.
- Track metrics related to platform use, training participation, and content performance to inform strategic improvements.
- Assist with data collection and performance monitoring through SharePoint dashboards, surveys, and evaluation tools.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support updates and promotion of learning initiatives, resources, and training schedules.
- Promote training opportunities and education campaigns across internal communication channels.
- Prepare materials, organize content libraries, and ensure branding and messaging alignment across platforms and training materials.
- Contribute to enhancing the learning environment by staying informed of user needs, operational priorities, and feedback trends.
- Support project leads and educators in refining digital learning strategies and optimizing resource utilization.
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Health Sciences, Information Management, Business, or a related field and at least 4 years of experience in project coordination, digital learning, or training program management
- OR a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2–4 years of experience in digital learning, clinical education, or training program coordination
- Hands-on experience with LMS implementation and support, particularly in healthcare or clinical research
- Experience managing training logistics, including event coordination and material preparation
- Familiarity with clinical trial operations, terminology, and regulatory requirements
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and supporting enterprise-wide education initiatives
- Prior experience with SharePoint, survey tools, and data visualization for performance tracking
- Exposure to ACRP certification programs or professional development frameworks in clinical research
Preferred Skills:
- Strong project management skills, including timeline development, stakeholder coordination, and risk mitigation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 tools (SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with web and content management platforms such as SharePoint and WordPress
- Ability to analyze data and create reports using Excel, Power BI, dashboards, and survey tools
- Excellent communication and promotional writing skills
- Skilled in content creation, editing, and design using Canva, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
- Experience configuring and maintaining LMS platforms
- Knowledge of regulatory standards for clinical trial education and commitment to ensuring compliance and accessibility
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
