Position Summary:  

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Special Services Manager to lead and coordinate specialty cleaning projects and oversee special services at multiple client sites within the Northern VA/DMV area. This role is responsible for managing teams, ensuring service excellence, maintaining client relationships, and driving operational efficiency for special services such as floor care, carpet cleaning, high-level detail work, and post-construction cleanup. 

Key Responsibilities:  

• Oversee and manage day-to-day operations of special services projects within the assigned area. 
• Schedule, dispatch, and supervise crews for specialized cleaning and maintenance services. 
• Coordinate with operations and account managers to schedule special projects and ensure timely delivery of services. 
• Conduct site visits to ensure quality control, adherence to safety standards, and client satisfaction. 
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing concerns and providing proactive solutions. 
• Coordinate with the operations team to ensure availability and proper use of specialized equipment and supplies. 
• Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to maintain high performance and safety compliance. 
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and development of special services staff. 
• Monitor labor costs, supply usage, and project budgets to meet financial targets. 
• Complete necessary reports, work orders, and documentation accurately and on time. 
• Respond to emergency service requests or last-minute changes with flexibility and a solutions-oriented mindset. 
• Ensure vehicles are properly maintained, stocked, and operated according to company standards. 
• Foster a positive, team-oriented culture focused on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:  

• High school diploma or equivalent required. 
• 3–5 years of supervisory or managerial experience in janitorial, facilities maintenance, or related industry. 
• Proven knowledge of specialty cleaning techniques, equipment, and floor care processes. 
• Proficient in floor care and carpet care. 
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple sites and teams effectively. 
• Excellent communication and customer service skills. 
• Proficiency with basic computer systems, scheduling tools, and reporting software. 
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail. 
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record; ability to travel between client sites. 
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends, when required. 
• Permanent Resident or US Citizen required 
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) -Required

Benefits:  

• Salary: $70,000-$80,000.00/yr
• Special Services jobs not part of the standard account contract completed after business hours and weekends are paid at an hourly rate (in addition to the salary)
• Special Services Company Van (stays on-site at office when not in use, must commute to Sterling, VA)
