Polyglass USA, Inc. , a premier roofing materials manufacturer, has an opening for an Environmental, Health, and Safety Specialist located at our Winter Haven, Florida facility. This position is primarily responsible for assisting with the oversight of the Environmental, Health, and Safety function for all company facilities nationwide.

What You Get To Do:

• Facilitate monthly EHS meetings with plant management and make recommendations based on collective input and observations (audits, injury reports, employee feedback, etc).
• Lead audits at all company facilities and make recommendations in matters of significance, such as corrective actions to address audit findings and regulatory violations, and/or other guidance to prevent violations/findings.
• Assist with the oversight of environmental compliance: Applies for, submits, and maintains permits required by governing agencies related to environmental and compliance regulations for all company locations.
• In conjunction with the Corp EHS Manager, implements and administers activities and programs to improve PG working conditions as related to environmental, health, and safety to minimize the risk of injury, loss, and danger to persons, property, or the environment.
• Review and audit training records for accuracy and compliance. Manages Safety Data Sheet for all company locations.
• Manage and administer the Company EHS Incentive Program nationwide.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What We Look For:

• High School Diploma is required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in environmental health and safety.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
